This site exists because the same question kept coming back: what did the car actually cost? A turnkey importer answers with one number, and that number is honest — it just cannot be taken apart. Some buyers are fine with that. Others, especially anyone who has bought more than one car, want the parts.

So this is the parts. The car at the price Japan charged, our fee at ten per cent of it, freight and insurance at a flat rate, and the government's share listed separately because it is not ours. The arithmetic is on every page and the conversion rate is printed with it.

We are not the biggest importer in Cyprus and are not trying to be. The measure that matters here is whether the car that arrives is the car that was described, and whether the invoice says what was agreed.
